Launched by Social Twist, the widget called “tell a friend” is designed to makes it possible for your site visitors to share your content and allow your readers to tell their friends about your blog.

There are numerous tools out there that do this type of thing but while other social widget enables site visitors to share content with friends across social networks, Social Twist help you to spread news of your blog posts from readers to their networks of friends via email, social networks.

The widget is completely free to install and use. You don’t need to sign up to Social Twist in order to use it.

However, once you create an account, you can customize the widget and offer usage stats as well. Installing the widget is extremely easy since Social Twist offers a WordPress plugin – just upload and activate. I’ll give an update in a week with my usage stats.

Give it a try and see how you like it.
