Waiting that twitter launch its make money program, other third-party services trying making money with its platform. The last service is called “Magpie“. Magpie is an ad-network for Twitter. To put it bluntly, you allow them to access your twitter account, and they will tweet relevant ads to your account.

Unfortunatly, you don’t exactly know how they calculate your earnings, the only thing you know is that ads have different prices for different category, you earn based on your number of followers, the number of clicks on these ads, and the rate of the ads.

You can set the tweet frequency, and for maximum control you can choose to pre-approve each tweet from magpie yourself. Also, Magpie has a calculator on their website that allows anyone to know how much you can make with your Twitter followers number.
For instance, I’ve insert the johnchow username, he has over 28.976 followers, and the calculator says he could make over 7,599.76 thousands pounds every month. Not bad! Thus, if you grow your twitter’s followers, the more chance to make money you have.

However, you will need to have an active twitter followers, that have interest to your tweets. Because I am sure you don’t make money just for having the most number of followers.
