Facebook is become one of the better ways to get your message visible and connect with your readers. With nearly 300 million users, many bloggers have thought to create a Facebook fan page to let people know what happens on their blogs, and keep them up to date.

However, many of them not know that a fan page can be also a good source of opt in leads for your email marketing. This is a way for bloggers to get new sign ups and a great way to built your mailing list.

The Facebook Static FBML application will add a box to your Facebook Page so you can render HTML or FBML (Facebook Markup Language). For instance, you can simply add the Aweber opt in code and have Static FBML render it.

In a nutshell, you will add an email newsletter sign up box in your Facebook Page. Here’s a step-by-step video on how to do it. Also, Alex Williams has post a full tutorial on how to add an opt-in form to your Facebook page.(Reccomended).
