Recently, after watching Google web site analytics, I throught  that Google really doesn’t visit my blog for minutes, or worse for hours, especially when the new posted article is not yet included on the main index. However, I’ve also throught that if my cached pages were already updated, this means that Google really visited my blog.

I reccomend you to check up if Google are going to visit your webpages by looking the cached page of your blog. All you need to do is type: cache:www.nickdeiana.com. Of course, you need to change www.nickdeiana.com when you type the command on the search bar.

Now, the question is: How to make Google visit your blog often?. well, there are many ways to do it:

1. Press ReleaseWriting Press Release featuring your product and add it into the Press Release directories.

2. Guest Blogging – A good source of relevant backlinks, is guest blogging. Guest blogger looking for bloggers that substitute them on writing blog post. For those are unfamiliar with guest blogging, I suggest you to read my blog post.

3. Add Signature in Forums – When you register to some forums, on every new thread you create, you are able to add a link back to your websites o blog through their signatures. Often, forums are all similar, and to add a signature all you need to do is to click on the “quick links” button on the menu, then “edit signature”. At this point you can add your site url. Usually, no more than 2 url for forums.

4. Bookmarking sites – There are many of Bookmarking sites where you can submit your site such as digg, Delicious, and so on. If you have no idea on how to speed the entire process, I suggest you to read my article “How To Get Backlinks – Social Bookmarking Automation Software“.

I hope you found this article helpful and maybe a bit of inspiration for make Google visit your blog often.

Wow, I thought Google visiting my page one a day to index it was good, guess when you want to really get things going then it’s best to find a way to index more frequently.
