UPDATE – 8 july 2010 - Recently, I had a little problem with my old theme. My website statistics showed me that many of the heavy used files were linked to it. So I decided to looking for another theme more clean and simple to use, and finally I opted for the Arthemia Premium theme.

I always argued that getting a Professional WordPress theme will give you a great hand to having succesful with affiliate marketing. In my three years like affiliate marketer I tried a lot of free Theme, but I was not satisfied by them for two main reason:

• Lack of Widget – When it comes to Free themes, they do not have widget included in their features, this could be a great lack because it simplify a lot the work and save time.
• Lack of Support – It could happen to you to have problems when you customize your theme. So, If you have a hand from someone is a great way to fix it and speed up the work.

What Is Premium Arthemia Theme?

Today I’m going to review a powerful Wp theme called “Arthemia Premium“ designed by my friend Michael Jubel that as you can notice I’m currently using in this site.

When it comes to choose a Premium theme, Arthemia is probably one of the most clean and feature-packed themes I’ve seen in a long time. This wp theme is both a magazine and a weblog. In particular, is a magazine style theme with two-column and simple, and well organized design.

I can assure you that It take your blog to the next level, because make your blog more professional and unique and many of features you can not find on free WordPress themes out there.

Why I Choosen Arthemia WordPress Theme?

First off, I was simply dazzled by the options available, are alot. Second, earlier nickdeiana bounce rate was almost 80% but after using Arthemia wordpress theme is come down to 50%. The third reason I love Arthemia WordPress Theme is because I’m not a coder, and Arthemia let me change any color font, box without touch the code. Fourth, design is very cool. After uploading and actived the theme on a fresh WordPress installation, you’ll get a site that look like this:

As you can see in the image above through my blog, Arthemia Premium isn’t like a common blogs out there, with an ordinary blog’s layout, but it’s similar a magazine style theme. Here I’ve made an overview of the main elements of the theme:

• Top – At the top of the home page you have the headline post that is  highlighted at the top left of the page and featured post with thumbnail(that I’ve removed in this blog), similar to a magazine style.
• Center – In the middle of the home page, you have a simple category bar which will help your readers exploring the site. The rest is similar to a common blog with the post showed sequentially.
• Botton – At the bottom, Arthemia is outfitted with a blog must-have section, a three-list of favorite posts.

Arthemia Wp Theme Features

This theme will take care of everything for you. For instance, once wrote your better post the auto thumbnail features lets you to assign a specific image for every post on a separate field without ask you to add it. This is a unique features you can not find on other WordPress themes. Also, the theme use a legible sans serif font with all lowercase that give it an original and modern  feeling.

The Arthemia Premium main features includes:

1. Theme Administration Panel – You’ve got no idea about PHP, (X)HTML, and CSS? Don’t worry about all the complicated commands and manage everything from the theme administration panel. You can assign images for header logo, bookmark (favorite) icon, categories for headline and featured section, categories to be shown in the category bar, latest posts from each category, thumbnail sizes, show/hide post excerpts, and all.

Thumbnails across the theme will be assigned and generated automatically as requested, for every image sizes. You don’t need to spend your valuable time creating the thumbnail images but purely focus to your website content. Both automatic and via-custom-field assignment are available.

4. Banner & Adsense Management - You can configure ad banners on your website. Simply upload, assign, and add hyperlinks. In addition, you can get your Google Adsense banners displayed, hassle-free. Complete your Adsense account information in the theme administration panel and your Adsense will be on your website, in one click. Provided ad spots are 728×90 leaderboard banner, 468×60 banner, and 300×250 rectangle banner.

5. Easy Customizations - You can also customize the look of your pages. Show or hide headline spoilers, colorful category bar, category spoilers, and video/random post gallery with a single click. If you don’t need any of those features, simply turn it off to suit your liking. The theme panel is designed to make all users, both novice and advanced users, experience the ease of customizations without getting any CSS/XHTML problem.

6. Google-friendly Website – In addition to the integration of Google ad service: Adsense, Arthemia Premium provides you another in-depth integration with Google Analytics, the best and the most reliable web statistics, and with Google Feedburner, a feed and podcast management, giving you a better control of your RSS feeds. Feeds are automatically redirected and Google Analytics code is optimized to give you the best performance.

Who Is It for?

Arthemia Premium isn’t for newbie. That means that it’s for those who use their blog every day. I mean, Arthemia Premium is a professional theme and if you want to get the most out from this, it requires some modifications (PHP and CSS wise). However, the team has provided the useful tools for all your needs.

Also, make sure to use Arthemia Premium if your blog has already some post. So, it will make your theme look full, and the theme will make your blog looks great.

Last but not least, for those have problems to customize their layout, there’s a support forum for this theme available, where you can post your own problems and find a solution.

• Pros – Arthemia is well organized and clean and makes your content look great. Visitors have many navigation choices, and the combination of design elements and the two column grid format  make it easy to read.
• Cons - As i said before, if you don’t have a lot of content, this theme could look empty.
