[22 Feb 2010 | 2 Comments | ]

Do yuo want to know how to get more traffic to your blog? Yes? Well, today I want to show you how to drive laser targeted traffic to your blog.

Today, I’ve created a powerful list of the best ways to drive traffic to your blog. I’ve choosed these ways, because I think are the most profitable methods to apply. While driving traffic is an important part of blogging; driving laser targeted traffic is crucial for marketing.

1. Guest Blogging - If you want hordes of laser targeted visitors comes to your blog, then Guest blogging is the perfect way to do it. Guest blogging can be traffic driving machines if done right. Images how much visitors can drive sites like Problogger.net and Johnchow.com if you write a guest post into their blogs. Once got an initial spike in traffic you can also get a constant trickle of return readers.

2. Ad swap - An ad swap or advertisement swap is simply an arrangement where you agree to put up someone else’s ad on your site or email newsletter in exchange for them doing the same. Once you created an “seed list” of about 400 subscribers,  all you have to do is to contact other list owners in your niche and offer them an ad swap.

3. Forum marketing - You can use the forum in two ways. First, you can start a new thread and ask one question that could be useful to the community. Second, you can become a part of the conversations they are having and help others members where you can.

4. Blog Commenting - I always does daily comment on blog like Problogger.net, Johnchow.com and shoemoney.com. The first rule to comment well, is to make a comment in your same niche. Then, be sure to adds value to the post. Be sure to be at the first 4 commenters on the post, so you will receive more traffic. Check up which blogs will bring you a lot more traffic than others.

5. Seo - Search engine optimization is just as important as link building. Once you wrote your article, add keywords in the titles of your blog posts. Add at least one relevant keyword on each paragraph. Last, use the keyword into the links.

How To Turn Press Releases Into Sponsors
[19 Feb 2010 | No Comment | ]

Today, let me tell you a brief story: When I started increase the traffic on The3dtechnologies, I started receiving press releases from all kinds of companies.

Some will just email you the release, while others will actually looking for free publicity on one of your posts. They ask you if you can write a review about their product or simply link to it.

I’ve admit that often don’t read this kind of email. However, recently, I throught I was missing a great chance to make additional income.

These emails are a great opportunity to comunicate directly with the company. The reason is because the company already reads my blog, too, which would make works a lot easier.

I want to make an example:

Hi Clicktale Team,

I think my readers would love to know about your product/service because are very interesting. I can add one 125×125 sponsor spot on my blog. It make over 100,000 monthly impressions, and the cost is $80 monthly. I believe this partnership could work for both of us, so let me know if you want to discuss it further.

Best,

Nicola Deiana

Of course, some company have not accepted the request. However, often I sold the advertising spot on the3dtechnologies. It’s works, and certainly worth my time.

I also sell sponsored reviews on my blog, both strategies work well, because many company are interested in reviews. If you want to ask for review you could reply to the press release in this way:

Hi Clicktale Team,

I think my readers would love to know about your product/service because are very interesting. If you are interested I could write a sponsored review about it of 900 - 1000 word. Check up my website the3dtechnologies.com to see if you like my reviews. It will include a description of your product, one screenshot and one, two or three link to the page you prefer. The cost is $50. I believe this partnership could work for both of us, so let me know if you want to discuss it further.

Best,

Nicola Deiana

I’ve received many responses, positive and negative, but in general this strategy works well. I reccomend to set up the price that is right for the size of your blog.

If you get a press release, now you know what to do!

Follow Me On Google Buzz
[15 Feb 2010 | 2 Comments | ]

Recently, I’ve tested Google Buzz to see what is all about. I found the product very simple to use and I believe have great potentiality.

There was initially a little privacy problem, but after the complaints raised by several users who have signed up to Buzz, the new Google social network ran for cover, changing the rules on the management of contacts known as followers.

The charge that has been moved to Google concerned the fact that all contacts with which they entertained frequently debate becomes automatically follower, so they could see their personal data and other users in your list, among them the email and name.

Google have fixed the problem, and now you can modify the list of contacts, as you can hide your personal information and your e-mail selectively, or both to the follower that the following. This is not a thing that other services does, quickly.
