[16 Aug 2010 | No Comment | ]

Do you ever throught to track your email in order to know whether someone will open your email message. If so, there is a little tool you can use for this purpose called SpyPig.com.

Once you type your email address and the title of the message you wish to track, then you’ll activate a tracking image. At this point you need to copy and paste it into the body of your email message. It’s an invisible image that does not bother who read the message.

check-if-email-was-read

As you send the message SpyPig will track that image.and when someone read your email, SpyPig will see the image was loaded, and it will send you a notification.

The only thing is that the image doesn’t must be  blocked by who receive the message. People should be able to receive HTML messages. But this shouldn’t be an issue for most people.

Make money Without Using Affiliate programs
[12 Aug 2010 | No Comment | ]

I actually don’t consider myself a guru, I not use that title for me mainly because I think myself just a good affiliate marketer.

How Could Be A Guru?

Aaron Wall is the creator of SEO Book. He is the most well known SEO on the Web and one of the first 100 Google qualified professionals in the world. He gets right to the point and use all strategies that anyone can use and duplicate.

I have read an great post on Aaron’s blog about his SEO eBook, which includes many strategies to get the first position on the search engines.

His eBook have had a lot of success and attracted a lot of beginners. Not so long ago had thought to change her business model and has asked his readers to leave him some comments on how make more money with his eBook.

Aaron’s says:

As search gets more complex and changes faster (you could write a 500 page book on just AdWords, let alone organic search) my job is to push traditional marketing principals rather than SEO loopholes because that is less risky and delivers more real tangible long-term value. Also, it is hard to write a book that is fairly comprehensive, up to date, applicable to the spectrum of readers, and easy to understand.

According to Aaron’s potential changes may include any of the following point:

1. Selling nothing on his site (“though I would still update my ebook for a while if I did this”).

2. Increasing price point to $299 to filter out many of the beginners.

3. Charging recurring fees to new customers.

4. Selling a recurring newsletter instead of an ebook.

Currently I’m writing an little guide that talk on how to make money online with simple strategies of affiliate marketing. After I write my eBook I will create a mailing list that accept subscribers. When? It will come published on my site in this year.

Ultimate A/B Testing Sotware, PhpA/B Is Here
[6 Aug 2010 | No Comment | ]

Split testing, also called A/B testing, is a method where you compare a web page with another web pages, by changing some things inside it.

For instance, you could take your landing page, and then create one in order to compare it against the old landing page.

If you do not know this method yet, there are many things you could improve with split testing. They includes:

1. Increasing the AdSense earnings by testing different AdSense units and placements.
2. Increasing the number of subscribers you get by testing the headline and position of the subscription form.
3. Increasing the number of retweets you get per post, based on the placement of the retweet button.
4. Increasing the bounce rate of the blog, by testing different placements of your content above the fold.

Now the question is: How do you run a split test? Well, there are two simple methods you can use. You can do it manually by changing some thing on your webpages one week at a time and then tracking the results, or by using a simple software and letting it rotate the variables for you.

    php

Usually I reccomend the second option due the fact it is better. Some days ago I found a cool software you can use for that purpose. It is called phpA/B, and it is free as long as you use it for personal purposes.

It was tested by my friend and he told me that works fine, also you can integrate it with Google Analytics too.
