Headway WordPress Theme Review, Easy WordPress Theme
[26 May 2010 | No Comment | ]

As many of my readers know, currently I’m using Frugal theme on my main blog The3dtechnologies.com, and Thesis theme on my second blog cabinrentalsideas.com. However, despite both are the most known wp theme out there, there’s another theme is breaking into the WordPress framework market. This theme is called ‘Headway‘.

Headway is a young premium theme that can be an alternative at most know Wp themes such as Thesis, Frugal, and Woo Wp Themes.

The fact that it is used by web star like Jay Fleischman, Chris Cree, and John Haydon, is a real proof of its importance.

For those isn’t genius with SEO and PHP or CSS languages, Headway could be incredibly helpful, because simplify the entire job.

But instead of continuing to gushing about how it’s the best thing since sliced bread, here’s a brief run through of what Headway brings to the table.

Design

The awesome Visual Layout Editor give you the ability to rearrange your site layout without touching a line of code. You can do everything through Headway Visual Editor, from a standard blog, to membership sites, e-commerce sites, and landing pages.

Flexibility

As I said before, currently I’m using both Frugal and Thesis theme, but I can attest that Headway’s flexibility is second to none for me.

You can create new sidebars and redistribute items as customize the 404 page as well.

It let’s you customize the layout of every page, and add, Featured Post rotator, Image Rotator, RSS Feed, and Content or Text/HTML and much more.

Also, If you move to the Design item in the Appearance tab in the WP Sidebar, you have different options to change the design of your site as you want.

Search Engine Optimization

Headway will help your search engine optimization. You no more need to install plugins to  efficiently optimize your site. It will help you to clean code in order that search engines to easily scour the page and index what’s important.

Here are just some of the things you can change on the fly:

1. Website width

3. Main Navigation Position
4. Breadcrumbs(turn them on or off, adjust display position)
